I am an African Man
I am an African immigrant man, I carry the weight of providing for my family in the United States while also supporting loved ones back home. I work long hours, often juggling multiple jobs, driven by the hope of creating opportunities and a better future for those who depend on me.
I serve as a bridge between two worlds—holding on to the traditions, values, and culture that shaped me while helping my children navigate a different reality. Yet beneath the strength others see are the pressures of financial obligations, cultural expectations, and the challenge of raising children whose experiences may differ from my own.
My story is a reminder that strength does not mean carrying every burden alone; even the strongest men need understanding, support, and space to care for his own well-being.
